| Folklore is a good learning tool for children's culture because it contains characteristics and cultures of diverse covers rich culture and history of each region in Indonesia. In Banyumas culture mulok subjects in primary schools Banjaranyar are one of the subjects of folklore Banyumas , one of which folklore Raden Kamandaka. But they feel less interested in learning about the story because it is only through books and the explanation of the teacher alone. The purpose of this study is as a supporting media other than books , which are expected to simplify and improve student interest in learning the subject matter mulok about Raden Kamandaka Banyumas culture as well as a means to reintroduce folklore raden Kamandaka to grade 6 elementary school Banjaranyar. This research uses data collection methods interviews, observation , literature study and questionnaire. System development method used is the method of system development by M. Suyanto waterfall and Y. Aryanto which consists of three stages, namely stages of pre-production , production and post-production. Software used in the making of this animated film is Adobe Flash Professional CS6 , Adobe After Effects CS6 , Corel VideoStudio X7 , Adobe Audition CS6. The results of this research in the form of animated 2D raden Kamandaka as a supporting medium so that the 6th grade students learn the subject matter mulok Banyumas culture of Raden Kamandaka.
