Media Pembelajaran Mengenal Rumah Adat Tradisional Di Pulau Jawa Berbasis Augmented Reality

In Public Primary Schools 2 Semondo, there is Art and Culture subject that studies about Indonesian culture from various ethnic groups and customs, such as traditional house and clothing, dance, musical instrument, and other customs. The teacher often explains the picture and name of the traditional houses only, and it is not enough to make the students completely understand. Therefore, it is necessary to use learning media which is able to display and give more information, and also easily to be understood by the students through an application named Augmented Reality. The purpose of creating this learning media which is based on Android is to help students of Public Primary Schools 2 Semondo in identifying Indonesian traditional houses. The method that is used for the system development in this research is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Result of the reseach is the researcher succeeds to create learning media application for introducing Indonesian traditional houses based on Augmented Reality.
