|Communication technology based on IP develops so quickly along with technological progress. Now the internet network is not only focused on the services of data packets and application standard as www ( world wide web ), http, smtp, ftp, or service of other data that is non real-time and do not have QoS. Nowdays the needs of services or applications based on multimedia program through the IP network has become something that is possible. Basically, IP network is made not to pass the real time data. But by the invention of technology supporting QoS network such as rtp, streaming via internet, rsvp, and mpls make the IP network reliable to send data that is real time as voice, video.
Progress in VoIP technology attract writer’s attention to try applying it in State Vocational Schools 1 Purbalingga environment. Because the writer sees that infrastructur of the computer network that have been in State Vocational Schools 1 Purbalingga allows VoIP communication network is built. It is also in harmony with one mission of State Vocational Schools 1 Purbalingga namely running competitive classes based on English and information technology.
VoIP server can be implemented on server existing without adding new server unit .The application uses virtual server technology or be known more with the term cloud server .So in this thesis writing, it will be discussed about the technology virtual server or cloud server
VoIP is communication data which is prone of tapping. To secure the communication data on voip is done by passing data through the track that was dedicated exclusively on communication data .The track is better known for VPN ( virtual private network ) technology .So in this thesis, it is also discussed the issue of VPN . In this research VPN applied uses tunneling l2tp ( layer 2 tunneling protocol ) that is VPN features which is found in Mikroti router. At the applications L2TP is combined with protocol that is capable to perform the process of enskripi data .This protocol is IP security or better known IPS ec .This VPN lane gives function as tunneling means to communicate through the network that is encrypted and authenticated.
From the testing using codec G711, it can be concluded that voip communication in general is good. It can be seen from delay testing analysis, jitter and packet loss obtained. The value obtained is still on the boundary tolerance standard suggested itu-t, namely for delay & lt; 150 ms, to jitter & lt; 30 ms and to packet loss to be around 10 % to 30 %.This value is still in the range of good qualities according to standard itu-t.|
