|Almost all aspects of human life today cannot be separated from technology, especially computer technology. Queuing system application needs effective and efficient way to manage the process of queuing. The case of study was held at the counter of BAAK and BAU STMIK Amikom Purwokerto. The aim of the research are to plan and to build queuing system using speech engine. The speech engine helped the officer to serve the queuing process so that it improved the effectiveness of working performance. The development of this system at the counter of BAAK and BAU STMIK Amikom Purwokerto used prototype method which has five steps. The steps are identifying user needs, building prototype, using prototype, developing prototype and completing prototype. This research used Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and Microsoft Access 2007 as the database. It also used Koba Speech 2 Vocalizer Damayanti Indonesian as the speech engine to produce voice for calling the queuing process. Based on the result and the analysis of the research, conclusion can be drawn that queuing system application can be used as a device to manage the process of queuing so that students can behave orderly in queuing.
